About the Role

The Senior Manager, Analytics at EXLService.com, LLC in New York, NY, will develop hypotheses and validate them based on analysis of data. Perform data analysis on client's data and recommend management solutions to help identify gaps in processes for improving efficiency. Identify the right data sources required to inform relevant insights, metrics and understand key business trends. Transform data from Text, Excel, pdf and XML files into usable format and derive key metrics. Process and extract data from XML and JSON and databases, including Hadoop, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL in order to generate insights. Collect requirements from data management for data validation and external data reconciliation and provide reports and visualizations. Automate current and future data extraction/manipulation processes using SAS, SQL, and Unix. Design and develop SAS/SQL analytical process to support current and future applications within Medicare area. Optimize codes using SAS/SQL and Python for cross functional team requirements. Use visualization software to create charts, tables to highlight key trends and recommendations. Program and write queries, codes, setup functions and process data using EXL analytic methodologies and analysis tools including SAS, R, SQL, Hive, Teradata, Hadoop, and MS Office to perform data extraction, understanding, curation, Big data processing, model development, validation, and stabilization. Develop analysis, drive conclusions, and present technical information in lay terms to clients. Coordinate with data scientists, data engineers and business leaders to understand data needs and deliver reports. Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States with telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in a related occupation.
  • Three (3) years of professional development and design experience in big data processing and analysis.
  • Experience with model building, clustering methodology, and statistical processes using SAS and Excel.
  • Experience building ETL pipelines and managing data using SQL in Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Proficiency with Tableau for data visualizations, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Experience programming in Visual Basic Application in MS Excel.
  • Experience with data analysis related to US healthcare insurance, risk management, and claims processing.
  • Experience with enterprise modeling and data integration platforms including SAS or SQL Server Integration Services.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of experience in a related field.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary range: $171,000 - $174,000 per year.
