Senior Manager, Application Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to ensure the effective execution of product development initiatives, focusing on quality, security, and resilience of the products.
• Act as the primary contact for front-line business leaders, providing support and collaboration.
• Work closely with the business side of Tier 2 support to assist with queries and ensure seamless inter-departmental communication.
• Provide strategic oversight and direction to the product development teams.
• Monitor and ensure the quality of both product development and support services.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and support.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment of goals and expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field plus six (6) years of related experience.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree and four (4) years of related experience.
• Two (2) years of experience must include: C#; NET Core; SQL; MongoDB; Visual Studio; Visual Studio Code; Git; Jira; React; Angular; JavaScript; RESTful Web Services; AWS; Kafka; .Net Framework; ASP.NET; API (Rest & SOAP); ETL; Microsoft SQL Server - TSQL; Oracle 11g Database; NodeJS; jQuery; Object Oriented Design; Agile Software Development Methodologies; DevOps practices CI/CD and Monitor/logging tools; and Distributed systems architecture and event driven design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Six (6) years of related experience or Master's degree with four (4) years of related experience
• Experience with a broad set of technical skills including C#, .NET Core, SQL, MongoDB, AWS, Kafka, RESTful Web Services, and others as listed
