About the Role

The Senior Manager of Performance Analytics & Insights at Pfizer's Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) team is responsible for driving performance tracking and reporting for commercial performance, including product outcome reporting, omnichannel engagement activities, and executive dashboards. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders within the Chief Marketing Officer organization and other Pfizer units to standardize and centralize the commercial reporting ecosystem, implement industry best practices, and turn data into meaningful insights that impact patient lives and Pfizer's data-driven future. The team is diverse, collaborative, and focused on innovative research, strategic thought leadership, and effective communication of complex information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the build and standardization of the commercial reporting eco-system.
  • Act as a strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to organization-wide performance reporting, including executive reporting.
  • Lead identification of information needs and develop project plans to address those needs.
  • Develop and execute creation of in-house datasets to drive patient and HCP insights into infrastructure of care.
  • Connect reporting insights to tell compelling stories and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support dialogue to adapt global strategies and standardize performance metrics and tracking.
  • Contribute to advancement of capabilities through thought leadership and knowledge sharing.
  • Align activities with other GCA teams to ensure cohesive stakeholder engagement.
  • Partner with other analytic functions to utilize novel data sources and reporting methods, including RWD and Data Science.
  • Ensure team commissioning and contracting through preferred vendors.
  • Manage compliance and SOP obligations for primary market research projects.
  • Direct workload of flexible resources and oversee continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assess and manage risks related to vendor technical capabilities and analytic processes.

Requirements

  • At least 6+ years' experience in Biopharma, analytics, strategic consulting, or related area with a bachelor degree; or 5+ years with a master degree.
  • Strong coding skills (such as Python, R, SQL), MS Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Deep understanding of data visualization tools and experience designing complex dashboards (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, Looker).
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills to synthesize inputs and communicate insights to commercial leadership.
  • Experience in secondary data analytics and using innovative techniques to monitor and analyze complex data sets.
  • Ability to assess vendor capabilities, manage risks, and lead cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, strategic partnership ability, and leadership qualities.
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced environments, with critical thinking and project management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in a quantitative discipline.

Nice to Have

  • Experience leveraging AI/GenAI is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred in a quantitative discipline.
  • 6+ years' experience in analytics, biopharma, or related fields.

  • Annual base salary ranging from $120,800 to $201,400.
  • Participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of base salary.
