About the Role

The Senior Manager of Performance Analytics & Insights at Pfizer's Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) team is responsible for driving performance tracking and reporting for commercial performance, including product outcome reporting, omnichannel engagement activities, and executive dashboards. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders within the Chief Marketing Officer organization and other Pfizer units to standardize and centralize the commercial reporting ecosystem, implement industry best practices, and turn data into meaningful insights that impact patient lives and Pfizer's data-driven future. The team is diverse, collaborative, and focused on innovative research and strategic leadership in analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the build and standardization of the commercial reporting eco-system.
  • Act as a strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to organization-wide performance reporting, including executive reporting.
  • Lead identification of information needs and develop project plans to address those needs.
  • Develop and execute creation of in-house datasets to drive patient and HCP insights into infrastructure of care.
  • Connect reporting insights to tell a compelling story and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support dialogue to adapt global strategies and standardize performance metrics and tracking.
  • Contribute to advancement of capabilities through thought leadership and knowledge sharing.
  • Align with other GCA teams to ensure cohesive activities with stakeholders.
  • Partner with other analytic functions to utilize novel data sources and reporting methods, including RWD and Data Science.
  • Ensure team commissioning and contracting through preferred vendors.
  • Manage compliance and SOP obligations for primary market research projects.
  • Direct workload of flexible resources and ensure continuous improvement of analytic capabilities.
  • Assess and manage risks in the analytic process and vendor technical capabilities.
  • Lead teams through complex, cross-functional projects and influence without authority.
  • Communicate complex data insights effectively to commercial leadership.

Requirements

  • At least 6+ years' experience in biopharma, analytics, strategic consulting, or related area with a bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with a master’s degree.
  • Strong coding skills (Python, R, SQL) and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Deep understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, and Looker.
  • Experience leveraging AI/GenAI is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in secondary data analytics and innovative techniques for complex data sets.
  • Ability to assess vendor capabilities and manage analytic risks.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced environments and critical thinking skills.
  • Business/Financial acumen and ability to influence stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI/GenAI technologies.
  • Experience in using innovative techniques to monitor, simulate, and analyze complex data sets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in a quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in analytics or related fields.
  • Proven success in managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and business acumen.

  • Eligibility for Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of base salary.
