About the Role

Ceribell is a medical technology company focused on transforming the diagnosis and management of patients with serious neurological conditions. The Ceribell System is a novel, point-of-care electroencephalography ("EEG") platform specifically designed to address the unmet needs of patients in the acute care setting, and is being used in hundreds of community hospitals, large academic facilities and major IDNs across the country. Key Responsibilities

Lead software development team in launching and maintaining features and products
Work closely with Product, Data Science, and Hardware teams to define and implement new features
Work with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and that software requirements are thoroughly documented and tested
Manage team priorities across multiple projects, appropriately plan resourcing needs
Ensure appropriate tools and software development best practices are implemented
Hire and mentor software developers and related team roles

Requirements

BS in computer science, engineering, or related discipline
7+ years of software development experience, 5+ years of software team management experience
Knowledge of and experience with medical device regulatory standards, documentation, and V&V
Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

Educational background in computer science, engineering, or related field
Extensive experience in software development and team management
Experience with medical device regulatory standards and documentation
