About the Role

The Senior .NET Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise software applications using the latest .NET frameworks. This role requires on-site presence in McLean, VA, and involves working with a team to deliver reliable, flexible, and high-performing systems. The position emphasizes technical guidance, innovative problem-solving, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain enterprise software applications using C# .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF, and REST Services.
Design, implement, and optimize web applications and services with SOAP and REST-based web technologies.
Create and maintain Windows desktop applications, particularly in VB6, if applicable.
Construct complex queries, stored procedures, and perform performance tuning in Microsoft SQL Server.
Work with SSIS and SSRS for data integration and reporting tasks.
Implement unit testing using frameworks like MSTest, NUnit, and Moq.
Configure builds and deployments using CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
Collaborate using tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Git, and Confluence.
Participate in Agile development processes, including SCRUM and Kanban.

Requirements

Solid experience in C# .NET development up to the latest frameworks.
Experience with .NET Core web application development.
Proficiency in enterprise software development and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of web services, XML, and JSON technologies.
Experience with front-end technologies such as AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Strong TSQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
Experience with unit testing frameworks like MSTest, NUnit, and Moq.
Experience configuring builds and deployments on CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Git, and Confluence.
Experience with Cloud (AWS) is a plus.
Experience with Agile methodologies, SCRUM, and Kanban.
Ability to provide technical guidance and work independently.

Nice to Have

Experience with AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with Cloud (AWS).
Experience in developing or maintaining Windows desktop applications in VB6.

Qualifications

Relevant experience in enterprise software development.
Proficiency in .NET frameworks and related technologies.
