Senior .Net Developer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and implement software based on specific requirements or methodologies to meet procedural needs.
• Develop software tools that include system calls to third-party utilities and tools.
• Design, maintain, and implement original software applications from high-level, non-specific concepts.
• Develop large and complex software systems, including web-based query and reporting systems.
• Test, debug, and refine computer software to produce the required product.
• Translate detailed design into computer software.
• Enhance software to reduce operating times or improve efficiency.
• Provide full life cycle support for software including user interaction.
• Provide instruction, guidance, and prepare program-level and user-level documentation.
• May provide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI Eligibility Clearance.
• At least five (5+) years of related experience.
• At least two (2+) years of experience as a Software Developer building multi-tier framework software applications using object-oriented programming languages, specifically C#.
• Experience developing SOAP and REST APIs in a client/server environment.
• Experience developing, debugging, and/or refactoring code for programming languages such as C#.
• Ability to identify technical strategies to interconnect disparate software applications by authoring original software programs.
• Experience with scripting command line tools to automate tasks.
• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM).
• Knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with major databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Experience designing and authoring original software applications from high-level concepts.
• Experience writing programs based on desired outcomes or workflows from vague or high-level specifications.
• Experience with systems designing, policy development, database development and management, and user interface development.
• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems, or related field, or in lieu of education, three (3) additional years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have

• At least one (1+) year of experience with cloud application development and management, preferably on Azure.
