About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on a large application within the Network and Security Services Line of Business. The role involves working on net new development and enhancing existing applications written in .NET. Key Responsibilities

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs related to technology, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet client needs while leveraging understanding of policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Continuously learn and develop skills
Provide mentoring and guidance to other developers
Identify and work around process design challenges creatively
Create process definitions and standards, ensuring project documents are shared timely
Contribute to the creation of standard approaches and techniques
Develop prototypes and proofs of concept

Requirements

4+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET Core, C#, VB.NET, and .NET design patterns such as Factory, Builder, MVC, Entity Framework, DAO, and Singleton Pattern
4+ years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and React
4+ years of experience with data modeling languages such as XML, YAML, and JSON
4+ years of experience with SQL, SQL Servers, non-SQL databases like MongoDB, and other query tools
4+ years of experience with web services such as SOAP and REST using OAuth and JWT, ASP.NET Web API, and ODATA

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies
Experience with OpenShift OCP, Micro-Services, Kubernetes, and Docker
Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Experience with cloud environments like OpenShift OCP
Experience with Continuous Improvement and Continuous Development tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Harness, YAML, and Artifactory
Experience with SDLC methodologies like Agile SCRUM, Kanban, and JIRA
Experience developing unit tests and integration tests such as XUnit and MSTest
