The Senior Platform Engineer role at Finxact by Fiserv involves working within an agile Platform Engineering team to develop and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions, with a focus on automation, security, and cross-cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Implement automated deployments using Kubernetes (EKS), ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform.
Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines to streamline and secure software delivery.
Script automation tools and solutions using Python and Golang to optimize operational efficiency.
Integrate secure secret management practices using HashiCorp Vault.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand and meet project requirements.
Proactively manage tasks and deadlines, adapting swiftly to project shifts and agile demands.

Requirements

Extensive experience in cloud architectures including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes automation and management via Helm charts and ArgoCD.
Proficient in infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Advanced knowledge of Python and Golang for automation tasks.
Proven experience managing secure CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
Familiarity and hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage priorities and deadlines in an agile environment.

Nice to Have

AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
Experience in fintech and SaaS industries, dealing with compliance and security requirements.
