About the Role

We are part of Airport IT, supporting multiple airports across the world with various products such as flight information systems and airport operations systems. The Development and Platform Enablement team oversees implementing and maintaining applications hosted on AWS and Azure, system administration on Windows and Linux, automation of operational activities, and production support for cloud-hosted applications. The role involves maintaining and supporting cloud applications, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting releases, and exploring new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Handle platform incident requests.
Perform health checks of various systems.
Perform releasing of software components.
Automate different manual tasks.
Suggest improvements in existing operational processes.
Work on maintenance and upgrading of different technologies used in the ecosystem.

Requirements

Degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
Good English skills.
3+ years of experience using Linux, OpenShift, Helm, scripting (Shell or Python).
Understanding of certificate management, JBoss, Apache, Grafana, databases (Oracle), Java, Jenkins.
Basic understanding of networking, load balancer, firewall routers, HaProxy, Qlik, Windows admin.
Experience in vulnerability remediation.
Awareness of security tools like CrowdStrike Qualys.
Ready to travel (<5% per year).

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Knowledge of system administration on Windows and Linux.
Experience with automation scripting and operational tools.
