About the Role

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc., to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. You will define the long-term direction and roadmap for this initiative and push the use of GenAI to solve YouTube Data problems, building solutions that help internal and external users answer data questions related to experiments, trust and safety, video performance, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the product outlook, strategy, success metrics, and road-map for different applications of AI data insights.
  • Understand the needs and journeys of users to discover opportunities.
  • Drive cross-functional product execution for next-generation initiatives from ideation through launch and iteration.
  • Communicate product strategy and results to stakeholders at all levels, including leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • 2 years of experience in data or AI/ML domains.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Knowledge of, or continued interest in, building accessibility best practices and experience/curiosity for incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
  • Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
  • Individual pay is influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education.
  • Additional benefits are available, details of which can be shared during the hiring process.
