About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to lead moderately complex initiatives within technical domain environments. The role involves contributing to large-scale planning, designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting projects related to technology upgrades and deployments. The position requires collaboration with peers and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and lead projects, acting as an escalation point and providing guidance to less experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs related to technology upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet client needs while leveraging understanding of policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Requirements

4+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent (work experience, training, military experience, education)
4+ years of hands-on experience working with Python, including design patterns such as Factory, Builder & MVC
4+ years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
4+ years of experience with data modeling languages such as XML, YAML, and JSON
4+ years of experience with SQL, Oracle, non-SQL databases like MongoDB, and other query tools
4+ years of experience with web services such as REST
4+ years of experience with CI-CD Pipelines, OpenShift OCP, Harness, Micro-Services, Kubernetes/Helm Charts, GitHub & GitHub Actions

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies
Experience with different SDLC methodologies like Agile SCRUM, Kanban, and JIRA boards
