Senior Social Media Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day execution of social media strategy across platforms.
• Manage content calendars, posting schedules, and campaign timelines with precision and flexibility.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and cross-functional teams (design, ops, sales) to align content with brand and business goals.
• Concept, capture, and edit high-quality social content (video, photo, text) optimized for each platform, with a focus on short-form video.
• Create content featuring the founder.
• Visit local stores regularly to gather authentic, in-the-field content and stay connected to customer experience.
• Physically post content and monitor performance daily.
• Be the voice in comments, DMs, and mentions, actively handling inbound and outbound communication with followers, influencers, and brand partners.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers, creators, allies, and brand fans.
• Help identify, onboard, and collaborate with influencers, advocates, and creators.
• Serve as the founder's right hand on all things social, from strategy to execution.
• Bring leadership energy to the social team, helping set creative direction, inspire others, and push for bold ideas.
• Mentor and support junior collaborators, freelancers, or agency partners as needed.
• Track, analyze, and report performance metrics across platforms, translating data into actionable insights.
• Stay deeply plugged into internet culture, social trends, memes, and platform updates, and act on them quickly.
• Proactively pitch ideas for trend-driven content, cultural moments, and community-first campaigns.
