Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, fast, robust, and simple self-service data analytics solutions to solve complex business problems.
  • Help shape data governance processes and streamline data accessibility.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to collect and incorporate feedback into feature design.
  • Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement follow-up actions for mitigation.
  • Improve performance, availability, reliability, scale, throughput, and latency of data systems.
  • Work with the team to meet customer needs, understand decision-making processes, and communicate effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional coding experience with any programming language, preferably TypeScript, JavaScript, React, or Python.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in the Data field.
  • Experience with web infrastructure and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices such as unit testing, code reviews, design, continuous delivery, git, test automation, and build/deploy systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment and learn new frameworks/stacks.
  • Experience with tools such as Redshift, Airflow, dbt, and environments including Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data visualization and analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with data orchestration and scheduling at scale.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Passion for operational excellence and continuous learning.

  • Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
