Key Responsibilities

Develop scalable, fast, robust, and simple self-service data analytics solutions to solve complex business problems.
Help shape data governance processes and streamline data accessibility.
Collaborate closely with team members to collect and incorporate feedback into feature design.
Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement follow-up actions for mitigation.
Improve performance, availability, reliability, scale, throughput, and latency of data systems.
Work with the team to meet customer needs, understand decision-making processes, and communicate effectively.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5+ years of professional coding experience with any programming language, preferably TypeScript, JavaScript, React, or Python.
3+ years of professional experience in the Data field.
Experience with web infrastructure and distributed systems.
Knowledge of software engineering best practices such as unit testing, code reviews, design, continuous delivery, git, test automation, and build/deploy systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment and learn new frameworks/stacks.
Experience with tools such as Redshift, Airflow, dbt, and environments including Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Nice to Have

Experience with data visualization and analysis tools.
Familiarity with data orchestration and scheduling at scale.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Passion for operational excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications

Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
