Senior Software Development Engineering, SRE (US Federal)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy automation and applications for multiple development, engineering, and DevOps teams.
• Support the reliability and availability of build, development, and deployment tools.
• Collaborate with global and remote teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of tools and systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 8+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, Java, or similar.
• 3+ years' experience using configuration management frameworks like Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes in Public/Private Cloud environments.
• Excellent analytical skills for problem solving.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in Linux operating systems and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang.
• Deep understanding of Public Cloud Networking.
• Experience managing and supporting source code management (SCM) tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on automation.
• Strong verbal communication skills for collaboration with diverse, global, and remote teams.

Nice to Have

• Certifications relevant to the role (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
• Certifications for tools like Bitbucket, GitHub.
