About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer will provide technical leadership in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining responsive web applications. The role involves working with a variety of technologies including Java, J2EE, SOA, Elastic, Python, HTML, Spring Boot, Spring, DynamoDB, MongoDB, RESTful APIs, AWS, MySQL Hibernate, and Apache. The engineer will be responsible for designing and developing services using cross-platform frameworks, gathering and analyzing requirements, implementing reusable components, analyzing user needs, developing best practices, and guiding junior developers. The position is based in Santa Clara, CA, and involves full-time work with travel to client locations within the US.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to design, develop, test and maintain responsive web applications.
Design and develop services using cross platform frameworks.
Gather and analyze requirements to ensure the feasibility of design.
Implement reusable components and develop best practices and standards for the team.
Analyze user needs and software requirements.
Provide guidance and training to junior developers.

Requirements

MS or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering (any) or Technology or Related and 3 years' experience in developing web applications using Java/J2EE, RESTful, AWS, Elastic and Python.
OR BS or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering (any) or Technology or Related and 5 years of relevant progressive experience including at least 3 years' experience in Java/J2EE, RESTful, AWS, Elastic and Python.
