The position involves designing and implementing scalable, high-quality iOS solutions, with a focus on mentorship, architectural decisions, and seamless backend integration within an internal inspection team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Serve as a technical mentor, guiding and supporting the growth of junior and intermediate engineers through knowledge sharing, pairing, and code reviews.
Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the overall technical strategy for the mobile platform.
Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices, with a focus on writing clean, robust, and maintainable code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Identify and resolve complex performance and scalability issues using tools like Xcode and Instruments.
Stay current with the latest trends and tools in the Apple ecosystem, including Swift concurrency, incorporating innovative approaches into the development process.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines to support efficient iOS app deployments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on native iOS application development.
Proficiency in the Swift language and extensive experience building and deploying production-grade iOS applications using SwiftUI.
Deep understanding of iOS frameworks and core components, including the URL Loading System (URLSession, HTTP, REST APIs), Core Data, and AVFoundation.
Experience with synchronous and asynchronous programming and modern concurrency APIs.
Hands-on experience with platform-specific tools like Xcode, Instruments, and Git.
Experience with AWS and/or Google frameworks and Cloud services such as Firebase, BigQuery, S3, or various databases.
Familiarity with backend development concepts and integrating with cloud services.
Experience with testing frameworks like XCTest and a strong focus on testable code.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
