About the Role

Docusign brings agreements to life. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM). This role involves working on Docusign's Platform responsible for high scale and low latency service, delivering a No-Code Business Process Automation framework for agreement management workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Think about how to solve problems in scale and build fault tolerant systems
  • Develop high-quality, ship-ready code that is covered by a full test suite
  • Design and develop a web-scale service that follows microservices principles and is deployed using containerized cloud technologies to allow customer administrators the ability to construct simple business processes without having to have coding expertise
  • Work with Product Management and other developers to understand and translate marketing requirements into design requirements and provide estimates for development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust fault-tolerant systems, fortifying our software's reliability in diverse operational environments
  • Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing and release of products
  • Employ industry best practices to design and maintain resilient software architectures, prioritizing system stability and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • 8+ years development experience or equivalent
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics or equivalent
  • Experience with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
  • Experience working with C#, Go, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript or other modern programming languages

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Cloud Technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, or equivalent)
  • Experience building Cloud Native Services using REST APIs, Microservices based architectures, and containerized technologies (e.g. K8S, and Docker)
  • Experience designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging multi-regional web-services
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience designing and operating large-scale cloud services, including troubleshooting and performance tuning
  • Experience in high-scale distributed systems and fault tolerant design
  • Experience with Agile and Test-driven development methodologies
  • Experience with the entire software development lifecycle, including version control (git), CICD pipelines, testing, and regional cloud deployments
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment, prioritize your work and manage your own time
  • A passion to learn new software technologies

  • Educational background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields
