Cvent's Research and Development division is currently looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Development Frameworks Group.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute directly to the evolution of framework features and capabilities that achieve improvement in resilience, scalability, security and product developer velocity.
Showcase strong architecture and design instincts in order to collaborate with technical leadership and other cross functional teams to develop and execute on roadmap.
Support consuming teams as they adopt, upgrade and utilize the development framework to create solutions.
Proactively stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends to anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
Consistently look for ways to remove friction to ensuring a desirable experience for our customers - the developer.

Requirements

Bachelors+ in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of Software Development experience.
Highly proficient in at least one object-oriented language: Java or C# is a plus.
Highly proficient in JavaScript or Typescript for web application development.
Proficient in CI/CD concepts, knowing how to configure and manage pipelines to ensure that software updates are deployed quickly, safely and efficiently.
Some experience with AWS services including Cloudfront, ECS, S3, DynamoDB and others.
Strong passion for Software development, and taking pride in your craft.
Experience building framework libraries is a plus.
