About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer will be working as a Java/Spring Server-side engineer to design, code, and maintain web applications, APIs, and infrastructure components. The role requires working both independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision, to develop scalable and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Designing and coding highly efficient and scalable software.
Refactoring and improving the maintainability of the codebase.
Troubleshooting production issues and providing resolution.
Solving complex scalability, platform, and integration problems.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Proficient in application development, support, and maintenance of production systems.

Requirements

Minimum 7-10 years of application design and development experience.
Expert level knowledge and experience with Java.
Expert level knowledge and experience with Spring Framework.
Experience developing and consuming Web Services using REST and SOAP.
Experience with Spring Boot microservices, Spring Cloud, API development, and API security.
Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or Postgres.
Experience with Web and Application Servers, preferably Tomcat.
Experience writing unit and integration tests, preferably using JUnit and Mockito.
Experience supporting and troubleshooting systems and software running in production.

Nice to Have

Experience with Agile Scrum.
Experience with TDD and Pair Programming.
Experience with modern CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines.
Experience with Git/Bitbucket.
Experience with AWS.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with full stack development using HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS.
