Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy software across multiple acquisition efforts.
• Assist in the development of RFP packages and other technical documentation for competition and acquisition of new systems.
• Work with modern commercial software development practices and tools such as AGILE, Kanban, Git, Artifactory, Cucumber, Atlassian, Jenkins, etc.
• Utilize container frameworks and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Singularity, OCI.
• Contribute to delivering mission capabilities efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years' of experience in software engineering or a closely related field.
• 2+ years' experience in the DoD working on special access programs within the last 4 years.
• Experience with modern commercial software development practices and tools such as AGILE, Kanban, Git, Artifactory, Cucumber, Atlassian, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with container frameworks and orchestration such as Kubernetes, K8s, Docker, Singularity, OCI.
• Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis software such as MATLAB, Open Mission Systems (OMS), real time operating systems (RTOS), complex digital device hardware including FPGAs and DSPs, hardware description languages, VPX, VITA, SOSA, GPU, Cuda, OpenGL, RF Technologies and Software Defined Radios, EO/IR Technologies, and knowledge of different IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems.
• Experience with hybrid cloud software targeted deployments.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, physics, or a closely related field from an accredited university.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, physics, or a closely related field (desired).
• Active Top Secret Clearance (desired).
