About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for building and leading teams, enterprise partners, and vendors in delivering innovative digital products through software design and development of reusable components. The role involves developing and implementing e-Commerce strategies to enhance application performance, ensuring efficient product delivery, engaging in product and business discussions with a focus on feasibility and architectural strategy, and fostering collaboration among engineers, architects, product leaders, and stakeholders. The position requires leading Agile delivery sprints, training and evaluating employees, and ensuring code quality through best practices and standards, utilizing technologies such as Java, Microservices, REST API, Spring Boot, Node.js, React.js, cloud services, and databases.

Key Responsibilities

Build and drive teams, enterprise partners, and vendors in delivering innovative digital products through the software design and development of reusable software components.
Develop and implement e-Commerce strategy to improve application performance.
Ensure efficient execution of overall product delivery by prioritizing, planning, and tracking sprint progress, including development of shippable code.
Actively engage in product and business discussions with a technical eye for feasibility and adherence to roadmaps and architectural strategy.
Model an environment of strong collaboration and partnership with engineers, domain architects, product leaders, stakeholders, and partners to drive execution of the roadmap, negotiate changes in priorities, and communicate impacts.
Lead and guide software developers in an Agile POD-based delivery sprint.
Train and help evaluate employee performance.
Implement best practices and coding standards to ensure code quality and avoid monetary damage.
Work with Java, Microservices, REST API development, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Spring MVC, Node.js, React.js, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Jenkins, GIT, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

Requirements

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related/similar position.
6 years of experience in software design and development in the retail or e-Commerce domain.
6 years of experience working with Java, Microservices, REST API development, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Spring MVC, Node.js, React.js, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Jenkins, GIT, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
