Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Owns individual contributions to software applications development projects; meets project deliverables by collaborating with engineering, sales, and customer services departments.
• Allocates resources to complete programming projects, and designing detailed plans to ensure applications are functioning properly.
• Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of end-user applications software running on local, networked, and Internet-based platforms.
• Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
• Providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process.
• Exercises expertise and judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.

Requirements

• Ability to develop and share best practices that emphasize accessibility, performance, and reusability while creating reusable UI controls and layouts.
• Designing software applications running on multiple platform types which includes Figma UI components.
• Software applications testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
• Programming knowledge of Javascript and Typescript as well as C#.
• Experience building web UI components using React.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in software designing & development, software architecture, programming languages, or a related field.
