About the Role

The Antifraud team at CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. is creating software to help insurance partners identify potentially fraudulent behavior by members of their ecosystem. The system interfaces with external and internal data sources to detect data anomalies that indicate fraud risk. Identified risks are presented in a Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Portal for triaging, escalating, tracking, and resolving fraudulent activities. The system operates under a full continuous delivery lifecycle with automated testing and deployment processes. CCC is a leading cloud platform serving the insurance industry, empowering over 35,000 businesses with innovative AI solutions to simplify claims and repair journeys, and fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the design and implementation of microservices and test automation to identify risks of fraud from insurance carrier customers.
Work as an individual developer to develop and enhance product and test code.
Contribute to architecture and design discussions, code reviews, and functional demonstrations.
Review requirements in close collaboration with product management and product owners.
Become a subject matter expert, understanding business use cases and feature implementation.
Contribute ideas to the development processes and enhancements to the SDLC.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Java-based software development and debugging experience.
Demonstrated capacity to debug and resolve product issues.
Strong understanding of industry standard development frameworks and tools.
Experience with agile methodologies, continuous deployment, and optimizing the full SDLC.
Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
Experience with Web security and governance.
Experience in cloud hosted SaaS industry.
Experience in Agile/Scrum practices and tools such as JIRA, Confluence.

Nice to Have

Development experience in C#, C++, or other high-level languages.
Development experience in JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, and other test automation frameworks.
Experience with AWS or Azure, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Docker, etc.
