The Senior Drupal Software Developer will develop content management controlled by Drupal, User Interface Code on a major program for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, impacting the quality and cost of care for Medicare and Medicaid patients through the Quality Payment Program. The role involves working with a successful team that meets deadlines and delivers quality, primarily working Eastern time hours with some travel for in-person planning events.

Key Responsibilities

Develop content management systems using Drupal for a major program supporting Medicare and Medicaid.
Write React programming code and Node.js programming code.
Use Rest API for integration and data exchange.
Perform unit testing to ensure code quality.
Use Github for version control and collaboration.
Utilize JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.
Attend Scrum ceremonies and test meetings as part of Agile team collaboration.
Participate in some travel for in-person Program Increment Planning events.
Work within East Coast hours, starting meetings as early as 9:00 AM Eastern Time.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree.
At least 5 years of experience in Software Development.
More than 3 years of experience working with Drupal.
Over 2 years of experience with React.
Over 2 years of experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript.
At least 1 year of experience testing microservice architecture.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Reside in the U.S., authorized to work in the U.S., and all work performed in the U.S.
Lived in the U.S. for three full years out of the last five.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with Splunk.
Experience with Docker.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Codebuild or GitHub Actions.
Experience with test runners and assertion libraries like Jest, Mocha + Chai.
Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
Working knowledge of Git.
Basic SQL knowledge.
UI testing experience with Cypress or Playwright.
Experience working on a project using the Scaled Agile Framework.
Experience on a software development team building modern software products.
Flexible and willing to accept changes in priorities.

Educational background including a Bachelor's degree.
Experience levels as specified in the requirements.
