Senior Software Engineer - Feeds AMER

Key Responsibilities

• Build high performing, resilient market data streaming applications in modern C++
• Strive for high quality code, systems, tooling, testing and engineering practices
• Be a team player, with a passion for delivering robust, well-tested solutions
• Collaborate closely with product managers, stakeholders, and engineering teams from around the world
• Share new ideas that will help our teams grow
• Own and enhance highly visible and high impact feeds handlers

Requirements

• 4+ years working with an object-oriented programming language (C/C++, Python, Java, etc.) and a readiness to work in C++
• A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field of study, or equivalent work experience
• An understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with business teams

Nice to Have

• Experience developing on Linux-based platforms
• Experience with network protocols such as TCP, UDP and multicast
• Knowledge of market data systems
• Professional experience in C++

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field, or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages
