About the Role

The Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer I is responsible for developing and maintaining web applications within the financial services industry. The role requires a strong technical background in software development, with an emphasis on full-stack development, and involves working with various tools, frameworks, and methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web application software using Java, C#, or similar languages.
Design and implement relational database schemas, including DDL and DML scripting with PL SQL.
Consume and develop Web Services and RESTful APIs to support application functionality.
Participate in the SDLC and DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines and version control with Git.
Document work and track progress effectively, ensuring clear communication within the team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
5-7 years of experience in software development.
Experience in web application software development.
Proficiency in Java, C# or similar programming languages.
Proficiency in the development and consumption of Web Services and RESTful APIs.
Experience in relational database design and development of DDL and DML, including PL SQL scripting.
Experience with SDLC, DevOps processes, CI/CD tools, and Git.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to document and track work.
Strong analytical skills, focus, and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

Experience in the securities or financial services industry.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Moogsoft.
Knowledge of Scrum and Agile principles.
Expertise in Spring framework, Angular, and Software System Architecture.
