As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's Asset Management Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. You will be part of an Agile engineering team responsible for technical design and development within our Asset Management Technology line of business, working with testers to address bugs, propose and design solutions, and support software development lifecycle activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
- Writes code, tests and deploys software.
- Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
- Maintains and debugs software.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams including product, design and QA to deliver technology solutions.
- Troubleshoots and debugs applications in production and non-production environments.
- Supports CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Bitbucket for future code enhancements and repository needs.
Requirements
- Experience with Angular/Typescript, Java, Spring for designing, coding, testing, and deploying scalable applications.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA.
- Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging applications in various environments.
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Bitbucket.
- Typically requires a university/college degree with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of application design, architecture, testing, and development tools.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and adapt to fluid responsibilities.
