Senior Software Engineer - Informatica in Columbus, OH

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and monitor Informatica environments.
• Create architecture and high-level flow diagrams for business and management.
• Gather requirements from business and develop data transformation logic.
• Ensure data integrity between various source tables and relationships.
• Create technical specification documents and Extract, Transform, Load mapping.
• Manage development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and production environments with high availability and GRID setup.
• Automate environments using UNIX, pmrep, pmcmd, and other command line languages.
• Responsible for onboarding process involving knowledge transfer, knowledge building, presentations and code walk-through.
• Prepare SQL queries for data testing, including data warehousing, pre-stage testing, balancing and comparing data.
• Liaise cross-functionally to implement software patches and upgrades.

Requirements

• Requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, Systems Engineer or related.
• 5 years of experience with Informatica Power Center.
• 5 years of experience with scripting in Unix operating system environments.
• 5 years of experience querying Oracle database using PLSQL and SQL.
• 5 years of experience with Data Flow Design through Visio.
• 5 years of experience with database development using Toad.
• 5 years of workload automation experience using Autosys.
• Experience designing and developing ETL design and ETL mappings.
• Experience scheduling Informatica jobs in Control M based on business flow.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL solutions using PySpark.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 5 years of relevant post-baccalaureate experience.
