As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's Lending Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. You will be part of an Agile engineering team responsible for technical design and development within Lending Technology, working with testers to address bugs and propose solutions. The role requires fluidity and flexibility, with varied daily tasks, and a passion for full-stack development with experience in front-end and back-end technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
- Writes code, tests, and deploys software.
- Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
- Maintains and debugs software.
Requirements
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular (preferred) or other frameworks like React, Vue, Blazer.
- Experience with back-end languages such as Java (preferred) or alternatives like Go, Python, C#.
- Experience with at least two databases from SQL Server, CosmosDB, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of microservice architecture, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Gradle, NPM, Jenkins, Helm, Docker, CI/CD, Git is preferred.
- Typically requires a university/college degree with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and adapt to varied daily tasks.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- No required certifications, but relevant certifications are often desired.
- Candidates will be subject to additional background checks as per government client contract.
