Key Responsibilities

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, internal and offshore vendor dev teams to develop and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Mentoring a team of developers to maximize productivity and efficiency, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Designing and implementing innovative solutions to complex technical problems, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation to ensure the accuracy and completeness of specifications.
Participating in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of software quality and performance.
Working closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of applications.
Staying informed about the latest trends and developments in the software industry to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
Supporting architectural planning and participating in the broader engineering community.
Contributing to solution design, driving code quality, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Supporting platform modernization efforts and collaborating with stakeholders across product, UX, QA, and engineering.

Requirements

7+ years Magento development
7+ years PHP development
5+ years CMS development
Experience with enterprise-level Magento projects
Bachelor's Degree
Advanced understanding and application of Magento architecture
Advanced proficiency in object-oriented programming principles and practices
Advanced proficiency in PHP development and unit testing
Advanced proficiency in CMS platforms for building templates and front-end components (Craft preferred)
Experience with accessibility standards and best practices
Ability to mentor and guide junior developers
Intermediate proficiency in at least one cloud platform
Foundational knowledge of microservice architecture
Advanced proficiency in Vue.js and API development, including GraphQL or similar technologies

Nice to Have

Magento certification
Experience with Twig templates and TypeScript
