As a Senior Software Engineer - Microservices Framework within PNC's Technology - Asset Management Group (AMG), you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX. The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining microservices applications, with responsibilities requiring time in the office or remotely, at the manager's discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
  • Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Writes code, tests, and deploys software.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
  • Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in software engineering to drive, design and develop microservices applications.
  • Technical expertise in Java Spring Boot backend, Angular front end, Oracle and Mongo DB.
  • Experience with Flowable BPM, Kafka, secure APIs, vulnerability management, and legacy deconversion (e.g., Siebel).
  • Proficiency with Angular (latest versions), responsive UI, API integration.
  • Backend skills including Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Knowledge of workflow and automation tools such as Flowable, IBM BAW, Salesforce Flow.
  • Experience with document and signature tools like OneSpan, DocuSign, OnBase, E-Sign, Wet sign workflows.
  • Experience with REST API(s), Kafka, data mapping and transformation.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Docker, Red Hat OpenShift, SonarQube.
  • Understanding of compliance and security practices, including audit-ready workflows and secure coding.
  • Typically requires a university/college degree with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
