As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Lending Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Miamisburg, OH, Columbus, OH, Jacksonville, FL, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX, or Philadelphia, PA. The position is primarily based in a PNC location, with responsibilities requiring time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. You will be part of an Agile engineering team responsible for technical design and development within our Retail line of business, working with testers to address bugs and propose solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Work with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate that into development strategy and application design.
Lead other developers while managing your own development workload.
Engage in analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
Contribute to Agile processes including daily standups, user story refinement, sprint reviews, and demos.
Build unit test coverage for developed software.
Work with QA testers to provide input into their test plans.
Provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs.
Write, test, and deploy software code.
Prepare technical and procedural documentation for software.
Maintain and debug software.

Requirements

Experience with Back End technologies: .Net Core/6/8, .Net framework, C#, advanced concepts such as dependency injection.
Experience with Front End technologies: Angular 18+, including state management, library creation, rxjs, reactive forms, content projection, ElectronJS.
Knowledge of DevOps practices: Containers, OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins.
Experience with MicroService Architecture and REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with the above technologies and responsibilities.
Typically 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
