Senior Software Engineer - Runtime

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement systems for both local air-gapped systems as well as customer distributed deployments.
• Driving new features through robust backwards compatible updates that impact all of webAI's customers and products.
• Participate in our budding knowledge, architecture, processes and systems, contributing your experience and intuition to raise the bar for the engineering org while making technical choices accessible to product owners.
• All of this work will directly influence the company's ability to deliver AI-powered products and services. You will have ownership in a critical area that shapes the future of the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in product driven backend engineering, or extensive experience in embedded systems, platform teams, etc.
• Strong proficiency in Go.
• Experience with at least one messaging system such as MQTT, Kafka, Nats.
• Experience with deployment pipelines, including CI/CD processes, and the ability to adapt to and manage a custom deployment strategy tailored to our system architecture and runtime requirements.
