As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will shape the technical vision and lead talented engineers to deliver impactful solutions in a fast-moving, innovative environment based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

Own project outcomes from planning to delivery, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions using the latest technologies.
Guide and mentor engineering teams through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices to maintain high standards.
Manage and support remote and in-office team members, fostering strong collaboration across distributed teams.
Collaborate closely with Product Management, User Experience, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes.
Present ideas and strategies directly to executive leadership to drive meaningful business impact.
Work with other engineering leaders to define and implement the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap of a growing company.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Provide meaningful feedback to support the growth of team members.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience managing technical teams with a successful track record of delivering software projects.
Experience working with onshore and offshore team members.
Expertise in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Java, or C.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
Strong experience with Azure or AWS, CICD pipelines, and microservices architecture.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex technical topics for engineers and executives.
High energy, results-driven mindset with the ability to inspire and engage teams.
Ability to adapt to change, navigate ambiguity, and drive clarity in an iterative environment.
Experience in the insurance or financial industry is a plus.

Qualifications
