Senior Solutions Architect

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develops Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) and related mission solutions applicable across defense and mission partner initiatives to achieve Combined/Joint All-Domain C2 objectives.
• Helps transition a broad strategic vision to an agile technology- and partnership-based execution plan, prioritizing and executing both internal and customer funded efforts for the near, mid, and long-term, consistent with emerging space domain constructs.
• Integrates capabilities to address emerging customer needs, including classified missions.
• Participates in strategy development and updates with a focus on actions aligned to strategy implementation.
• Develops innovative solutions combining data integration, mission planning, C2 systems, from mid-TRL capabilities to operational sustainment, supporting national security applications leveraging capabilities across the commercial and DoD industrial base and international partners.
• Works with technical staff and Business Development personnel to understand customer needs and leads development of solutions impacting strategic project/program goals and business results.
• Performs technical execution leadership on customer- and internally-funded programs and projects.
• Secures cross-organization buy-in on solutions that transition from current practices toward new concepts, practices, and approaches.

Requirements

• Masters degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 17+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability in a recent technical leadership role to translate strategic vision into an agile action plan with demonstrated business impact.
• Experience developing and maturing strategy aligned to customer, corporate, and mission objectives.
• Ability to form industry and international partnerships addressing challenging customer missions and diverse business objectives.
• Experience working with or supporting U.S. Air Force organizations, including AFLCMC/HB.
• Broad understanding of BMC3 systems, JADC2, and related DoD concepts and frameworks, including current and emerging systems.
• Experience with classified command and control systems and working with classified customers.
• Experience leading the development of innovative solutions for major capture and proposal efforts, balancing cost, schedule, function, and quality.
• Strong communication skills and experience in business development, capture efforts, white papers, proposals, and briefings.
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one, and eligibility for Special Access Programs.

Nice to Have

• Experience with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, edge computing, and advanced analytics.
• Direct experience supporting or collaborating with JADC2 efforts, e.g., Joint Fires Network, Overmatch.
• Recent experience with key customers/programs such as AFLCMC/PEO digital, PEO Mission Command.
• Experience architecting and delivering solutions across multiple operational domains.
• Support of and participation in transitioning programs from capture/proposal to execution.
• Familiarity with secured data including multi-level classified data.

Qualifications

• Educational background: Masters or Bachelor's degree as specified.
• Relevant experience as detailed in requirements.
• Active or ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.

• Pay range from $148,850.00 to $269,075.00, based on responsibilities, education, experience, and other factors.
