Key Responsibilities

  • Architecting, designing, and implementing next generation deployment architecture and automation and observability solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Lead and implement various software projects, that will help operate AMD's global infrastructure in an efficient, resilient and performant manner.
  • Bring passion, enthusiasm and dedication for a metrics driven approach towards uptime, resiliency, performance, low latency, and end user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other teams to leverage components and technologies for faster development and rollouts.
  • Be accountable for establishing technical level relationships and partnering with all business disciplines and other teams to define and implement the automation solution.
  • Bring innovations with focus on Artificial Intelligence and champion AMD-on-AMD approach to infrastructure and operations.
  • Present and help with executive presentations to CxO levels within AMD and across industry forums.

Requirements

  • Passionate about infrastructure automation through software, with solid hands-on experience of network or other infrastructure automation.
  • Experience in frontend and backend software development: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, Java, Go, etc.
  • Expertise with automation tools/frameworks/languages: Ansible, Terraform, Python, etc.
  • Expertise with deployment frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines: Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, etc.
  • Experience with using Large Language Models (LLMs) for automating monitoring and analytics tasks.
  • Experience with both private and public cloud infrastructure and interfacing programmatically through APIs.
  • Experience working in a Scrum team or other Agile methodologies with a proven track record.
  • Experience guiding other engineers with appropriate delegation and validation to ensure alignment and consistency.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with using LLMs for automating various monitoring and analytics tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
