About the Role

The Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer role involves leading and contributing to the development of scalable, distributed applications using a range of modern technologies. The position requires a strong background in software development, particularly in Java and related frameworks, with an emphasis on designing, building, testing, and releasing high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Designing, developing, testing, and releasing software applications following best practices of SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
Creating, testing, and managing APIs for inter-process communication.
Building distributed applications using Java 17 or above, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or others, including SQL, Stored Procedures, and transaction management.
Implementing messaging solutions using MQ or Kafka.
Collaborating on building scalable and distributed systems with a focus on problem solving and designing for scale.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
10-14 years of experience in software development with hands-on experience in core Java and Jakarta EE frameworks.
Experience building distributed applications using Java 17 or above, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Proficiency in SQL, Stored Procedures, and transaction management.
Experience working with APIs for inter-process communication.
Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or similar.
Experience with messaging systems like MQ or Kafka.
Experience with SDLC and CI/CD pipeline best practices.
Experience with cloud and/or Kubernetes / Containers.
Experience with scripting using Linux.
