About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Use Sitecore CMS version 9 to build and manage web pages, including familiarity with Sitecore item trees, components, templates, sub-layouts, renderings, Content editor, Experience editor, Scheduled tasks, page synthesis, and Sitecore database-publishing and environment-promotion features.
• Collaborate with UX Architects, Tech leads, Program managers, Designers, and Project Owners to develop state-of-the-art web pages for campaigns and Maersk websites using Sitecore 9 platforms.
• Craft exceptional content experiences on Maersk.com, utilizing personalization tools and experimentation techniques to offer seamless and personalized customer experiences.
• Proactively contribute ideas for web development and design, staying updated with top trends and best practices.
• Perform quality checks on developed web pages to ensure compliance with web standards and internal regulations before release.
• Support content marketing and campaign programs by translating responsive and adaptive design visions into code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for landing pages, enhancing user experience with clear calls to action.
• Manage daily website content requests, including creating new pages, updating graphics, editing existing content, and troubleshooting issues.
• Maintain ownership of web standards, content, and structure quality and consistency, working with stakeholders to clarify and define solutions.
• Ensure brand compliance, correct tagging, and overall accuracy prior to publishing, and optimize content for search engines using keywords and meta information.
• Track tasks and projects via Jira, share progress updates with team members, and manage workload and project timelines, providing regular progress reports.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to create engaging website content based on news, data, and audience interests, and monitor trending conversations for content opportunities.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Sitecore, with a preference for Sitecore 9.0 version.
• Experience in using Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, practices, and trends.
• Strong eye for visual communication from both storytelling and technical optimization perspectives.
• Preferably knowledge of customer segmentation and user behavior-based personalization within Sitecore (8/9) and content management.
• Proactive, quick learner capable of independent thinking, multitasking, and working under tight deadlines.
• Experience working with Jira or similar project management tools is a plus.
• Basic on-page optimization skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent command of the English language with superior communication and stakeholder management skills.
