About the Role

Senior Workday Integration Engineer at Roblox, based in San Mateo, CA, is a role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining complex integrations between Workday and various internal and external systems. The position supports the HR Systems team and plays a key part in ensuring scalable, consistent, and reliable Workday integrations that enable the company's HR and business processes. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement complex integrations between Workday and various external/internal systems using Workday Integration Tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, Cloud Connect, etc.)
Serve as the first point of contact for Workday integrations at Roblox driving consistency & scalability within the Workday support team
Develop and maintain technical documentation on all data feeds to and from Workday
Assist the Compensation Programs team with designing integrated workflows within Workday
Track existing integrations and create systems to track failures and automate first response
Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management and business leaders
Develop plans to mitigate and avoid future system issues
Provide guidance to data engineers on best practices for data extraction and analysis

Requirements

3+ years of practical Workday integration administration experience including responsibility for system configuration, access management, testing, and user support
At least 1 full Workday Implementation as a technical resource
Deep understanding of calculated fields and custom reporting in Workday
Exposure to Workday Advanced Compensation, Payroll, or Core HCM
In-depth understanding of Workday's data model, business processes, and security features
Experience with EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, Python or other integration technology
Advanced skills with Workday integration technologies such as EIB, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio
Experience with various integration patterns, protocols, and data formats
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar technical field

Nice to Have

Experience with Workday's data model, business processes, and security features
Knowledge of common integration patterns in the HCM space
Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation, Payroll, or Core HCM

Annual salary range of $177,700—$226,450 USD
Eligibility for equity compensation and benefits
Onsite work at Roblox headquarters in San Mateo, CA on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday
