Social Media and Marketing Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Create engaging content that resonates with target audiences while maintaining brand voice and identity.
• Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos for marketing use and content creation.
• Oversee video post-production including editing, graphics, and publishing.
• Utilize and implement AI to connect with existing patients, engage prospective new patients, and communicate with referring providers.
• Develop and implement marketing plans across digital platforms.
• Maintain and update company websites (WordPress experience preferred).
• Monitor trends and analytics to optimize campaigns and improve performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and customer feedback through social listening.
• Analyze performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and web analytics.
• Manage social media advertising campaigns including Facebook Advertising.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).
• Oversee content calendars, ensuring timely publication using management tools like Hootsuite and Buffer.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages promptly.
• Conduct proofreading of all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to branding guidelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, public relations, and video editing.

Requirements

• Experience in a marketing or content creation role.
• Creative writing and verbal communication skills.
• Passionate understanding of social media platforms and trends.
• Computer savvy with the ability to adapt to new tools quickly.
• Experience with WordPress and website management.
• Skills in photography and videography (portfolio or personal account suggested).
• Proficient in video post-production.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Social interaction ability and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of branding strategies and public relations practices.
• Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite and Buffer.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
• Experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or video editing.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing/content creation: 1 year (Preferred).
• Ability to commute to Chicago, IL 60601.
