The company is seeking a motivated and passionate Social Media Specialist to enhance its marketing team, focusing on crafting and executing social media strategies for various colleges within its network, engaging with stakeholders, and boosting brand presence across social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Craft and execute a tailored social media strategy for the designated college, working in tandem with the social media and marketing teams.
Generate and gather compelling multimedia content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, utilizing editing tools like CapCut.
Manage the presentation of social media profiles, ensuring visual and graphic design aligns with each college's identity while maintaining overall brand consistency.
Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and oversee social media content calendars and campaigns, aligning with broader marketing objectives.
Utilize social media tools to maintain and update page content, handle interactions, schedule and publish content, and track performance metrics.
Create social media best practices to share with local campus staff and ambassadors for curating and sharing local content.
Attend and promote campus events through appropriate social media tactics, including some travel to local events and campuses.
Work closely with internal stakeholders and manage outside agencies to ensure best practices and results are achieved.

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
Expertise in native social app usage and management of platforms like Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
Proficiency in social media tools like CapCut and Meltwater.
Good understanding of social media KPIs, tracking, and reporting.
Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with each brand to define social media strategies.
BS degree in Marketing or relevant field recommended.

Nice to Have

Experience managing social media for educational institutions or similar organizations.
Additional skills in graphic design or video editing beyond CapCut.
Experience with social media advertising and paid campaigns.

Qualifications

BS degree in Marketing or relevant field (recommended).
