About the Role

You will enhance and maintain web applications for the Life Sciences industry. Emerson provides state-of-the-art software for top tier life science manufacturers around the world.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and create code fixes for the DeltaV MES suite
Help identify and troubleshoot customers' complex issues
Collaborate with architects, product support engineers and customer success managers to develop robust solutions to customers' issues
Participate in code reviews and improve code quality
Help create and advise on the creation of supporting documentation

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of .NET development experience with UX and Transactional operations with SQL Databases
Proficient in the usage of both REST and SOAP webservices
Experience in the release strategy of products with multi-versions and different configurations
Experience in progressive web apps and cloud native apps for delivering API interfaces
Excellent communication and time management skills
Full Stack Development experience in MERN and MEAN frameworks including technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Razor Views; and backend development such as C# and Go
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position

Nice to Have

Experience with languages such as TypeScript and JavaScript including implementations such as knockout.js and jquery and XPath
Experience with modern frameworks like React and Angular
Experience with SQL Server stored procedures and transactions
Experience with Microsoft IIS and hosting web sites (OnPrem)
Experience with Design Patterns such as Redux, Unit of Work, Repository Pattern and MVC
Experience in Life Sciences Industry or Manufacturing Execution Systems
Experience with Best Practices in Secure Software Development
Experience with SAFe agile or any other Agile Frameworks in an Azure DevOps environment
