About the Role

This is a remote, part-time position in the United States for a Software Developer 2 with expertise in Alfresco. The role involves managing and customizing the Alfresco digital platform, integrating it with other systems, and providing technical leadership. The position requires extensive experience with Alfresco and related technologies, and offers the possibility of renewal up to three years.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Alfresco digital platform, including installation, configuration, upgrades, user and permission management, performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup, and disaster recovery.
Design and implement custom solutions using .NET (C#, ASP.NET, Web API) to extend Alfresco functionality.
Develop and maintain Alfresco extensions using the Alfresco SDK, AMP packaging, and REST APIs.
Integrate Alfresco with external systems using CMIS, web services, and custom connectors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.

Requirements

6 years of Alfresco experience, including managing the digital platform, defining architecture, configuration, customization, integrations, and backup strategies.
Familiarity with Alfresco Share customization and AMP packaging.
Experience with Alfresco SDK, Alfresco REST APIs, and custom content models.
Experience integrating Alfresco with .NET-based systems via web services.
Proficiency in .NET Framework / .NET Core.
Experience with Alfresco server setup and configuration.
User and group management skills.
Permission and role configuration experience.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus, or Azure DevOps.
Participation in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
