About the Role

Crispin is a leading provider of automation solutions for television broadcasters and is searching for an outgoing, positive and driven individual to add to our team. Crispin provides technology and services to broadcasters, cable operators, universities, townships and organizations that require the ability to broadcast video and audio to their target audiences. This position is required to work from the Crispin Raleigh Office on a hybrid in-office/ home schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Develop products and features for the Crispin suite of broadcast automation, media management and acquisition systems.
Engage in front-end, API and back-end design in Crispin product feature set, collaborating with other Dev team members.
Participate in architecture and design activities to support feature set development.
Engage in diagnostic activity with QC or customer service teams.
Learn new code and technology features as needed for building high-performing applications.
Design, build, and maintain single-page web applications using JavaScript, React, Redux Toolkit, jQuery, NodeJS, express.js, SQLite, and supporting libraries.
Develop and style user interfaces with CSS, TailwindCSS, and Bootstrap ensuring responsive and visually appealing designs across browsers.
Integrate and consume RESTful APIs to deliver dynamic, data-driven content.
Proficiently work with Python to develop backend RESTful services.
Collaborate effectively with team members to build robust and maintainable solutions.

Requirements

Experience in front-end, API, and back-end development.
Skills in JavaScript, React, Redux Toolkit, jQuery, NodeJS, express.js, SQLite, CSS, TailwindCSS, and Bootstrap.
Ability to develop and style user interfaces and ensure responsiveness across browsers.
Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs and developing backend services in Python.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
Familiarity with Windows OS development environment using Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt as projects evolve.
CS degree or equivalent experience (minimum preferred is Bachelor's degree).

Nice to Have

Experience with C#/.NET, C++, SQL, and development of Windows Services.
Experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems.
Experience with AI/ML toolsets and machine learning applications using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Transformers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
