About the Role

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Developer PL/SQL to join Hansen Technologies' Energy Development team in Bethlehem, US. Take a key role in driving success working with our Global Team to provide quality services to externally managed service clients and internal business units. This role will offer opportunities to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and be responsible for providing system support across multiple domains, design, quote, and delivery projects. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Bethlehem office.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Technical Specifications documents and assist other developers in the design of their components.
Design and programming of agreed developments/modifications to the system and resolve issues relating to the integration of project deliverables.
Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure understanding of client's requirements and assist with definition of customer requirements.
Ensure established standards and procedures are followed at all times.
Conduct unit testing of code and quality assurance of the system.

Requirements

Proven experience working on PL/SQL development using Oracle SQL.
Experience with GIT and knowledge of development methodologies and SDLC.
3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
Degree in Software programming, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Experience working in the utility/energy industry.
Intermediate to professional level English communication skills.
Strong expertise in automation and delivering software solutions involving collaboration with customers and operations teams.
Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.

Nice to Have

Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

Degree in Software programming, Computer Science, or Engineering.
