About the Role

The role involves building and maintaining software applications to support the business, working within a development team, and contributing to modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain a variety of software applications, tools, or functions to support the business.
Interact with the larger development team, share design and solutions, and contribute to the overall objectives of the team.
Maintain and enhance existing in-house applications and services used for financial data processing.
Work on projects dedicated to modernization of legacy systems and learn new technologies.
Support the trading system by providing answers to user inquiries or resolving batch job issues.

Requirements

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design in C# and modern .NET framework.
Knowledge of any of the following: C/C++/C#/Python/JavaScript/React is a big plus.
Familiarity with database and distributed systems concepts is a plus.
Familiarity with multithreading and asynchronous programming is a plus.
Ability to understand and implement complex program designs.
Good team player capable of working cooperatively or independently.
Quick learner and problem solver.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of C/C++/C#/Python/JavaScript/React.
Familiarity with database and distributed systems concepts.
Familiarity with multithreading and asynchronous programming.

Qualifications

Experience with object-oriented programming and modern .NET framework.
Knowledge of multiple programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, or React.
