About the Role

Rincon Research Corporation (RRC) is focused on innovating, developing, and deploying digital communication products and services for the United States Defense and Intelligence Communities to support national security. The company works in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment with electrical engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists to create custom geolocation and digital communication systems for national security defense. Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, deploy, and operate fully integrated software solutions.
Build and maintain infrastructure for modern integration between applications and third-party services.
Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, engineers, stakeholders, and vendors on projects.
Communicate technical ideas clearly and work closely with team members.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies.
Experiment with new technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into RRC projects.
Propose improvements to applications and frameworks.
Work with minimal direction and demonstrate the ability to self-start.

Requirements

Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, modern design patterns, and data layers.
Experience building quality APIs for internal and external products.
Experience integrating internal and third-party services.
Knowledge of modern software engineering practices for testability and readability.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
US Citizenship is required.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Golang.
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Proficiency in Linux environments.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Knowledge of Javascript and web technologies such as VueJS or React.
Experience automating workflows across the enterprise.
DevOps and cloud computing experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP).
Experience with Agile development processes.
