About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible as a member of an in-house team of developers to meet the increasingly specific and varied technology requirements of the business.
• Work as a member of a small, multi-functional development team.
• Develop high quality applications and reporting systems.
• Communicate with Red Roof business users to improve in-house software.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two or Four-year university degree or technical school diploma in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field, and/or 3+ years equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of current IT protocols and standards.
• Experience in developing applications that will meet business objectives.
• Self-motivated and self-directed with attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong end-user customer service orientation.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft O365 and Teams.
• Must have knowledge and 3+ years of experience working with JavaScript, HTML, Transact-SQL.
• Familiarity with Node.js, Angular.JS, or React.JS.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Agile development methodology.
• Knowledge of Bootstrap.
• Experience with financial or accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Two or Four-year university degree or technical school diploma in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
