About the Role

We are looking for a roll-up-your-sleeves person who will have a strong passion for quality and an inquisitive spirit to stay up to date with the latest technological developments in the industry. The primary responsibility of a Full-stack .NET Developer is to create and maintain proprietary software programs which provide value for our customers. The role involves working on cloud-native enterprise tax and accounting solutions, shared services components for reporting and data visualization, and business workflow integration tools. Collaboration with subject matter experts, understanding system architecture, and contributing to overall project success are essential. The team operates within an Agile Scrum environment and values trust, conflict resolution, accountability, and results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a complete understanding of the project(s) by meeting with team members, end-users, clients, and other departments to determine project status and scope within the first 4 weeks.
  • Prepare a personal development plan within the first 6 weeks, including training objectives, contribution goals, and process improvement recommendations, and review it with the Manager of Software Development.
  • Create and maintain proprietary software programs that provide value for customers, including cloud-native enterprise solutions, reporting components, and workflow tools.
  • Operate within an Agile Scrum team, developing skills in collaboration, teamwork, communication, and self-leadership.
  • Contribute to building a culture of trust, conflict mastery, commitment, accountability, and results, aligned with team principles.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in software development or related fields.
  • Academic training in computer science and/or engineering.
  • Experience with enterprise software such as ERP systems, financial/B2B solutions, or SaaS solutions in a public cloud.
  • Proficiency in .NET Core and C#.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks and languages such as Angular, React, Blazor, Javascript, Typescript, CSS.
  • Knowledge of microservices, containerization, and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) tools, data analytics, and AI tools such as Databricks and Github Copilot.
  • Experience with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and Azure SQL.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-native enterprise solutions for the energy industry.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

  • Academic background in computer science and/or engineering.
